HOW TO USE AN EYEBROW RAZOR

For me eyebrow razors are a new thing. I never even thought that these were invented and only assumed that razors were made for men’s faces and our bodies. In this blog post I will be sharing with you how to use an eyebrow trimmer / razor and the benefits of using an eyebrow razor when wanting to shape your eyebrows.

Most razors can be really sharp so when using one on your face you have to be extremely careful. It is ideal to get an eyebrow razor (which can also be called face trimmers). The blades on these types of razors are not too sharp.

How to use an eyebrow razor

1. Use a cleansing balm

When using my eyebrow razor I like to use a cleansing balm. This helps to avoid any friction against my skin. I simply use a warm flannel and then apply the cleansing balm. It will help to stop any rashes due to you using a razor on dry skin.

2. Brush your eyebrows up

Brush your eyebrows into the correct position. Before you begin to shave the excess hair, ensure you fix them up first and if need be, create an outline of your brows so you don’t over shave.

3. Do small strokes

Be careful! Remember this a razor and it has the ability to cut well. Use smaller strokes and do little by little. You can always go back and keep cutting away, rather than getting too carried away and making a mistake!

4. Apply a soothing lightweight moisturiser

When you have received your desired results, wash off the cleansing balm and apply a lightweight moisturiser. This will help to soothe your skin and keep the redness down.

How do you use an eyebrow razor on your face?

Using the exact same steps as I have listed above. I still would advise to use a smaller less sharper blade especially when using it across your face. I have learnt this from experience, and when I used a sharper large blade (which took me less time to get the peach fuzz off my face) I ended up scratching and cutting myself on my face! Not ideal at all and the scratches across my face really did sting. Again using a smaller razor will allow you to control it much better.

That is all for now, I hope you enjoyed my blog post on how to use a eyebrow razor!
