I have always been a lover of Kiko, I find that it is really high end beauty products ranging from skincare to makeup at such a reasonable price. I love having long lashes, I mean who wouldn’t? Our lashes are continuously falling out at least once a day without us even realising. Whether it be you touching or rubbing your eyes, or when you go to take your mascara off. So due to our everyday routine, by the time we go to put mascara on our lashes do not look as full or long as you had wished.

Well that is where I began looking for lash serum’s. I believe lashes can give you a completely different look. I mean look at the differen’t styles on false lashes you can buy, to create a new look regardless if the makeup stays the same. So have lashes which are long and perked up will be a better look than those short lashes that aren’t curled.

Why do lash serums work?

These are growth-enhancing formulas that stimulate lash growth, whilst some containing vitamins and oils, to help protect the lashes whilst keeping them healthy.

I have two lash serums. One is from the brand ‘Nouveau’. I actually in fact came across this product when I went to get my eyebrows done at Rush Beauty, and it was on the stand on offer. The lady explained it is to help grow your lashes, so I thought well why not… I have never used a lash serum so maybe this will work. After paying around £30 for it, I used it daily before I went to bed (I wanted to make use of it).

Did it help? Ooo yes it did, with my using it for 4 weeks every night, my lashes not only looked longer but they looked fuller and felt stronger.

As I had used it so much, my product run out. I was on the search for another one to purchase, however I came across a much cheaper one with really high reviews. It was the Kiko 30 day lash extension at a rather affordable price. So I thought I’d give it a go, considering all of the reviews. I had the mentality that if it wasn’t good then at least it didn’t cost too much and that I would happily just purchase the Nouveau serum if that was the case.

I apply this serum to the tops of my lashes from the roots to the ends and also on my lower lashes. It is a clear serum which is good, and it dries quickly which is good. Some lash serum’s are so heavy that they take a while too dry.

This serum you can use either during the day or night. I tend to use it at nighttime as it is quite heavy serum so it pulls my lashes down (not allowing the lash curler to curl them). I have used this in the day before, but again if you want to then curl your lashes it is hard. So anyway I wash my face before bed with warm water and my Elemis Cleansing Balm (which I have linked below).

Again I choose to apply and leave this serum for at least a minimum of 5 hours, just to ensure it has really soaked into the roots of the lashes.

That is all for now, my lovelies! Hope you found this article helpful, for now, take care!
